STORY.

A man from the present day wakes in a cultivation capsule aboard a research battleship drifting through space. He asks its AI to teach him every useful skill and piece of knowledge it can. Eighteen years later, a sleep that felt like an instant ends in a female body with silver hair and purple eyes.

The AI's explanations leave much to be desired, so she gives it a cat's body and makes it her companion. Salvaging equipment and materials from the oversized battleship, she rebuilds a medium starship into a home that can also fight. Telekinesis, piloting and fabrication help her explore life in her new body.

Connecting to the wider communications network reveals societies where people change bodies and many species coexist. She decides to seek the planet Earth and fellow humans, naming herself Earth in the process. Jobs, ship modifications, streams and encounters at each port follow. The journey with her cat AI gradually attracts an unexpected audience.
