Around sixty years have passed since dungeons appeared. Modern life coexists with adventurers who explore for a living.

Otherworld dungeons connect through entrances to separate spaces. Natural dungeons form where real terrain has changed. They lack the floors and teleportation structures of otherworld dungeons and are used under Association supervision.

An adventurer's rank reflects more than strength: experience and operating conditions also matter. Noa is registered at A rank.

Everyday Life with Akari-bi

Akari-bi is a B-rank party of three women: Satsuki Saegusa, Maho Segawa and Chiharu Kajiwara.

They work together, but each also has a life outside combat. Shared meals and casual conversations give Noa space to reconsider how close she wants to be to other people.

Noa's Magical Rifle

Noa combines a magical rifle with spells, judging distance and conditions in battle. Her equipment is also what makes independent exploration possible.
